Altcoin Alerts: Let us start the AMA with an introduction. Can you please introduce yourself & your journey in the cryptocurrency field? Also, please introduce holoride.
Nils: Sure. I’m the CEO and co-founder of holoride. I and the other two co-founders all worked for Audi in digital business, immersive technologies, and autonomous driving development. Prior to that I co-led one of Europe’s largest digital stock-listed agencies.

Nils: holoride is revolutionizing in-car entertainment. We take everyday journeys and transform them into hyper-immersive experiences by combining route and car data with Extended Reality (XR).
We are creating a completely new content and media category, which we call Elastic Content. Our technology has the power to change backseat entertainment forever. It will open a new layer of immersion in games, educational content, and many more use cases. It can also help reduce motion sickness.
We entered the crypto space last year to explore the potential for our platform that goes live next year and it’s a really exciting space!

Altcoin Alerts: Definitely 💯 When are we expecting holoride to go live and is the demo version out?
Nils: We’ll be launching in passenger vehicles in summer 2022, but we do already have a demo version available. We’re actually currently showcasing this at the IAA Mobility event in Munich this week and giving people immersive rides around the city.
We’re really happy with how this is going and have been getting some really positive feedback. People love it!
Altcoin Alerts: Waiting eagerly for it 🤩 The industry of VR Games, Virtual theme park, VR studios is currently growing at a fast pace. How holoride is different from other VR/XR products and how is it going to compete with them?
Nils: What holoride does is unique. Not only our tech, but also the revolutionary approach we have chosen by bringing XR content into the car.
We are building an immersive media platform and ecosystem that connects automotive, media, and tech, which currently does not exist.
Altcoin Alerts: Agreed. Is holoride also planning to integrate the current hot crypto gaming features like the Play2Earn model, multi-player gaming, etc?
Nils: We’re taking it even one step further with our “Ride-to-Play-to-Earn”-cycle that incentivizes users for their engagement with holoride experiences.
We will also contribute to the transition to sustainable mobility, think of a sustainable ride in a fully electric vehicle that earns users extra benefits

Nils: Additionally, multi-player gaming is definitely something that we are looking into. And we know from our research and speaking to passengers that they would love this interactive gaming experience.
Altcoin Alerts: Apart from Entertainment content, holoride is also focusing on Education, Productivity, Mindfulness, and more. Please tell us more details about it.
Nils: Sure. We’re beginning with a focus on gaming and entertainment content, which is primarily targeted to teens and tweens. Gen Z, basically. We then plan to build up our content platform to include the areas you mention with additional use cases and targeting a more diverse audience.
We’re also passionate about edutainment and offering educational content in a fun way.
Think of historic rides through the city during the school run, where they can learn about the city, historic events, and re-live these moments.
Altcoin Alerts: Glad to know that 👍. For everyone who is interested in holoride, please tell us about holoride token, holoride partnership with Elrond, backers, tokenomics, etc. How can one invest in holoride?
Nils: Let’s start with Elrond. We’re very happy to have such a dedicated team supporting us in our blockchain endeavors. We’ve established a strong relationship with the team that Beniamin (CEO) and Lucian Mincu (CTO) lead.
Of course, some of the major benefits of the Elrond network play a role as well such as security, speed, and scalability which is important for our ambitious goals in the future.
We’ve been lucky enough to have already done projects with Audi, Disney, Porsche, Discovery Channel, Mercedes-Benz, EvoBus, Ford, and Universal Pictures since we started. Along with many others we haven’t talked about yet.
We have a few bigger announcements coming up with automotive powerhouses, so there’s more great news to come!

Curiosity is a great thing! We embrace it at holoride as one of our core values, but let me share some functionalities instead that we have in mind for the token:
holoride token holders will be able to participate in the governance of the holoride platform and make important decisions about its feature development and strategic content directions.
Platform access: user subscriptions, developer access, and brand placements will be purchasable with holoride tokens at a discount from their Fiat price.
Create, sell and buy in-experience items: the holoride marketplace will enable users and content creators to mint unique NFTs based on their experiences in exchange for holoride tokens.
This is all of course subject to potential changes 😉

Q1. What is holoride revenue model? In which ways do you generate revenue/profit? So many projects just like to speak about the “long term vision and mission” but what are your short terms objectives? What are you focusing on right now?

Nils: Good question! On the business model…
From a business perspective, we are establishing a revenue share model that will fairly distribute revenues amongst all value-creating parties. This includes content creators and developers who will bring the ecosystem to life with exciting content and experience.
Car manufacturers will get compensated for providing real-time car data that fuels the motion-synchronized holoride application.
On the short-term objective and the focus right now…
Just a few weeks ago, we made our Elastic SDK available for the content creator and developer community at the Game Developers Conference available on our holoride Creator Space.

On your question about the difference between VR, AR, and XR…
Which is a great one and something I’m asked a lot!
Extended Reality (XR) is the umbrella term for Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality (MR).
VR is the full immersion of a user within a computer-generated environment
AR is the enhancement of the real world by overlaying computer-generated material
And MR is a combination of the two.

Q3. Could you share with us what holoride has done or will do with big partners like Audi, Porsche, Schell Games, and others? What do these partnerships cover?

Nils: Absolutely! This one is really fun because it’s where we get so many insights about how people experience their very first holoride.
We have done a few really exciting projects and showcases with some of our partners. We had our inception at CES 2019 when we were introduced to the world in a joint showcase with Audi where we showed off what holoride is with Marvel Avengers content.
Later that year we were part of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal CityWalk LA with our Bride of Frankenstein holoride. That one was so much fun!
Riders would step inside a Ford Explorer, put on a VR headset, and were joined by a re-imagined, virtual bride on a journey to deliver a message to Frankenstein.
We love the video, it tells the story so much better 😉
And just recently we completed our US roadshow from LA to San Francisco where we visited a number of game studios.
They got a sneak peek of an early holoride original title that we’re currently developing with Schell Games, a US game studio.
