Volunteer Missions
For those interested in serving the local community and building lasting relationships, there are a number of volunteer opportunities available that will still leave you time to visit sites of historical and religious significance. Spiritual Pilgrimages
The majority of trips to Palestine nowadays are religiously orientated; tourists come as pilgrims to visit the churches and other religious and historic sites in the Holy Land, just as the first “tourists” on large pilgrimage routes across continents have done for centuries before them. However, most of the modern day pilgrimages to Palestine and Israel do not include encounters with the ‘living stones” of the Holy Land, but focus exclusively on visiting holy sites as part of a standard itinerary. To fill the void left by other tours, Holy Land Trust offers pilgrims a unique experience; one that contributes to the Christian community and does not limit contact with the people of the land, whose families have been living here for hundreds and thousands of years.
Our pilgrimage is not a vacation or a retreat. However, it is the most spiritually uplifting and moving experience you will ever have in your life time. Not only that, but you will leave with a better understanding of the scriptures, to return home with refreshed spirituality.
Fact Finding Missions
One of the most unique opportunities we offer is a study and fact finding tour for Palestine and Israel. This program can be designed upon request for college students seeking to learn more about the political and social situation. If you are a professor of Middle East studies or religious studies, then this program will be the best for your students!
