Minting date and fee
The Valentine NFT drop will be a free mint! Yes, you heard it right 😉
We always valued the accessible aspect of our games, and we decide to be as inclusive as possible for our community members regarding the potentiality to mint one of our sweet Valentine.
We believe building and playing games should be free, and stay true to this statement with this drop. We also think free access to web3 gaming is a mandatory condition to truly become mainstream and onboard web2 people into web3!
The mint will be on the 17th of November, 2022, and the drop will be on the Ethereum blockchain. The exact time of mint will be revealed closer to the date.
Minting procedure
The mint will happen in 2 phases: the Homa List (Whitelist) phase and the Public phase.
Homa List phase:
- This phase will allow every people in the Homa List (WL) to mint 1 NFT per whitelisted address. It will last 12h and will not be overallocated. You will all be able to mint your NFT, as long as you mint it during the 12h of the phase.
- Every NFT not minted during this phase will be available during the Public phase.
- Wallet registered in the Homa List phase are able to mint as well during the Public phase.
- The Homa List phase will start at 8am CET (2am EST/3pm CST) and will and will end at 7:59pm CET (1:59pm EST/2:59am CST the 18th).
Public phase:
- This phase will allow everyone to mint 1 NFT per wallet until it is sold out. It will start right after the Homa List phase ended. More information about the exact timing will be made available closer to mint date.
- Around 10% of the total supply is expected to be available through the Public phase.
- This number can be bigger depending on the amount of NFT left from the Homa List phase.
- The Public phase will start at 8pm CET (2pm EST/3amCST) and will end when it is sold-out.
400 NFTs are reserved for Homa employees, moderation team, and marketing partners. 100 NFTs are reserved for future collabs, partnerships and community events as reward.
At first, all of the NFTs will be unrevealed. The reveal will happen in the following days, in order to create more excitation as the unique 1/1s Valentine will be teased after the mint and before the reveal 👀
How to join the Homa List?
It is possible to join the Homa List through giveaways, collabs and by being an active and valuable member of our Discord and Twitter communities.
When you are in the Homa List through collabs, we usually have your wallet already so it is DTC for you. You don’t have anything to do before the mint. A wallet checker will be available on the 15th of November with all the whitelisted addresses.
When you are in the Homa List through giveaways (on Twitter or Discord, hosted by the Homa Gang), you’ll receive the “Homa List” role. It is the same if you win it through participation on Discord and Twitter.
We will use an homemade Discord bot in order to collect the wallet of anyone in the Homa List that is not DTC.
It means that: you need to have the same Discord username as when you were given the role (otherwise we won’t find you in our database using the bot), you need not to have a wallet registered (otherwise we’ll tell you you’re already registered), and you can only register your wallet once (so be careful and don’t get drained in the meantime, thank you). This wallet submission bot will be available from the 12th to the 15th of November, and will only be available in the Homa List channel on Discord.
How to create a MetaMask Wallet
Step 1: Download MetaMask wallet
Go to https://metamask.io/ and click on “Download”. Choose your preferred browser or mobile application and install the MetaMask extension. MetaMask supports iOS, Android native apps along with Chrome, Firefox, Brave and Edge browser extensions.
Step 2: MetaMask wallet installation
Click on the MetaMask extension and click on “Get Started”.
You can either import an existent wallet using the seed phrase or create a new one.
Step 3: How to create a new MetaMask wallet
Click on “Create a Wallet” and on the next window click on “I agree” if you would like to help improve MetaMask or click on “No Thanks” to proceed.
Step 4: Create a strong password for your wallet.
Step 5: Securely store the seed phrase for your wallet
Click on “Click here to reveal secret words” to show the seed phrase.
- MetaMask requires that you store your seed phrase in a safe place. It is the only way to recover your funds should your device crash or your browser reset. We recommend you write it down. The most common method is to write your 12-word phrase on a piece of paper and store it safely in a place where only you have access. Note: if you lose your seed phrase, MetaMask can’t help you recover your wallet and your funds will be lost forever.
- Never share your seed phrase or your private key to anyone or any site, unless you want them to have full control over your funds.
Click on “Next”.
Step 6: Seed phrase confirmation
Confirm your secret backup phrase by clicking on each word in the order in which the words were presented on the previous screen. Click on “Confirm” to proceed.
- *Congratulations! Your MetaMask wallet has been set up successfully.**You can now access your wallet by clicking on the MetaMask icon at the top-right-end corner of your preferred browser.
How to send funds to your wallet
With Kraken’s Buy Crypto tool, you can now instantly buy, sell or convert any combination of cryptocurrencies and cash. Instructions on how to use the Buy, Sell and Convert options are shown below.
1. Buy Ether
1. Click on Buy Crypto at the top of the page and select the Buy option.
2. In the search field, type in the name of the asset you wish to buy. In this example, we’ll buy XRP. Alternatively, you can scroll through the list of available crypto assets.
3. Enter the cash amount you want to spend, or click the toggle button to input the volume of crypto you want to buy. Before you click the Preview button, ensure that you have selected the correct Pay With method. You can pay with either your cash balance, your debit or credit card or with ACH online banking.
4. A confirmation screen will pop up to show the asset volume being purchased, the quoted asset price, fees and cash amount for the purchase. You can click on the info icon to see the breakdown of the fees. The Kraken fee is applied to all transactions, but the Processing fee is only applicable for online banking and card payments.
5. If everything looks right, click Confirm to complete the order. 6. When paying with your debit/credit card, additional confirmation with 3D Secure will need to be completed.
