Once you have scrubbed off the mold, make repairs to the infected areas and spray disinfectant to the area and surrounding areas to kill morbid spores that cannot be seen. Once that is done, make sure the area is completely dried. You can use a vacuum to suck up the wetness. But later on make sure to properly clean the vacuum tank to get rid of any mold residues. After your mold has been completely removed, regularly check the surfaces for any new infected traces.
