1. Copper Accents

Copper brings a modern but simplistic accents.

“Each year we see a particular metal rise to the top of every designer’s list; and this year, it’s all about copper,” Nayak says.

Small piece of copper can make a big statement to the room, and it adds a glamour of touch without being gaudy.

2. Organic elements

It is easy to bring natural and organic components to the room, such as using bricks or rocks to make the wall or adding wood furniture. The goal is to make you feel at peace and calm at home.

3. Deep, rich hues. “Be bold or go home!”

“The concept of a ‘pop’ of color is blown up in 2015,” says Nayak. There are different ways to bring the beauty of the rich color out of it, one of them is to infuse the rich color into the space along with other colors from the same family. “Incorporate shades from the same color family throughout a room with a coordinating accent wall, rug and decorative pieces — such as pillows and blankets. This creates a bold, yet harmonizing visual.”

4. Gallery wall

“2015 is all about you.” You can hang a variety of items, such as mirrors, framed pictures, photos or even postcards. You can be as creative as you want, just imagine to create your own art gallery in your own little space.

5. Bold patterns in neutral colors

Neutral colors present a calm vibe, while bold patterns can bring the space to life or you can say “revitalizing” the room. You can use zebra patterns stairs, geometric wallpapers, or floral pillow case.

6. 60s mod

It is a concept of vintage. 60s century is full of curvy forms, geometric shapes and vivid colors.

2015 is full of creation and impression. If you are running out of house design ideas, take Taniya Nayak’s suggestion and embrace the new year of 2015. Download Friend Trusted App to find the right contractor to help you get the job done!
