No one is arguing that it is difficult for self-care to take priority when you are also trying to work from home and focus on childcare simultaneously.

There is hope; however, if you begin setting realistic expectations.

Don’t expect to be a star employee and parent of the year combined, especially at this time.

It isn’t going to happen. But hey, kudos to you if you feel you are consistently rocking it on both ends! Tell us your secret.

Both worlds have collided in a very big way, and how we are operating now may be the new normal for quite some time.

Instead of focusing on making it all happen every day, be realistic with what you can juggle and honest with what you need.

Communication couldn’t be more important.
