How has your upbringing influenced your parenting? Did your own parents set a good example? Do you try to emulate them when raising your own children? Or did you have negative experiences? Do you use these to make sure you’re very different to your parents?
We all have different upbringings and experiences. This month's prompt will focus on the value of everyone’s individual experience and how it has influenced their parenting. Submissions are welcome from parents-to-be, carers, grandparents, and people who would like to have children but are not parents yet.
There is no word limit for this prompt. The only rules are that you follow Medium’s Curation Guidelines and tag your work with “prompt”.
You need to submit your work by Tuesday 30th June. The winner will be announced in July’s newsletter.
