[satire] Breaking News: ISIS Involved in Deflate Gate Scandal

A recent photo discovered by EagleEggs shows an ISIS fighter on the sidelines, deflating a football.

This new evidence surfaces just as the NFL fines quarterback Tom Brady $2 million dollars for his involvement in the deflate gate scandal. It was just this past January that Brady publicly responded to allegations by stating, “This isn’t ISIS…”. Authorities are now scrambling since this photo may suggest otherwise. Preliminary assessments by the NFL’s Intelligence Agency suggest that this sabotage of American football can only mean one of three things:

1. ISIS has discovered that more Americans watch the super bowl than any other news channel.

2. Due to the influx of would-be volunteers, ISIS leaders have devised a new initiation rite — requiring ISIS recruits to photo-bomb at least one American football game. The change in tactics has proven to be much safer than the previous suicide-bomb requirement. As a result, suicide bomber jackets have hit the clearance rack and ISIS fighters are starting to scour the internet for tickets to the next game.

3. ISIS is simply pissed off that Americans value “football” more than soccer.

Regardless of the motivation for these nefarious actions, Eagle Eggs sees no option but to include American footballs with every Middle East aid package.
