Sometimes Thanksgiving Day Leaves You All Alone With No Family

It’s hard to put on a brave face when that happens

The holidays are not always “all that” for some people. I remember the first Thanksgiving of the year my mother died. Our house, which had always been full of noise, people, and the smells of cooking, was quiet.
