[Changelog] Honā Updates 22.09.21

2 new features (Challenge Leaderboards & Group Video) plus 5 bug fixes

We’re excited to share some updates from the #Bitpost30 blogging challenge — a partnership we began with BitPost on Sep 1st — which is supporting our hypothesis that by making accountability more rewarding, you can significantly improve engagement and productivity.

• Out of 65 BitPost bloggers who joined the challenge, 47 of them joined our Honā group.
• Out of the 47 members, 33 of them pledged a personalized commitment in Honā to complete the challenge.
• As of Day 21 of 30, ~70% of the top participants were Honā users.

As a result of this challenge, we accelerated some of the features we had on our product roadmap.

🎉 Leaderboards

If you are a creator of a challenge, you now have a way for you to view top performers, calculate group pace, and see success rates (how well people are showing up) very quickly.

Honā will now provide future Pro users with leaderboards for every challenge created.

👨‍🏫 Group Video

Every group needs a quick and easy way to interact more intimately with their members. We now have the ability for Pro users to take advantage of our in-app video webinar capabilities for up to 100 members.

For Group Owners (Pro/Lifetime Users)

So what can you start using this for? Here are some ideas:

1. Weekly meetups. Help your group members build more intimate relationships, introduce themselves, share wins and learnings, and even view updates on goals while talking to members (coming soon).
2. Webinars. Our in-app video allows you to keep things going with Picture-in-Picture (PIP) capabilities. Share your screen, take your group through other tabs or windows, without losing the Honā experience.

Normal users will be able to join webinars if they are part of a group, but won’t be able to create webinars.

Other fixes and improvements:

• Added extra check for virtue when creating a commitment
• Fixed deleting mentions in rich text area
• Added Back button to payment confirmation screen when committing
• Fixed stake multiplier and adornment in commitment wizard
• Removed “Get Lifetime Membership” banner from Groups and for Lifetime users
