1. Stay stupid.

Don’t think. Rational thought will only lead you to self-doubt, hesitation, and lack of movement. There are a million and more reasons why you shouldn’t be doing what you’re about to do. Think of Steve Jobs. The biggest geniuses were also the craziest folks. Everyone told them they were doing the wrong thing, heck, they thought they were doing the wrong thing — but had the ignorance and naïveté and stupidity to keep pursuing what they’ve started. So don’t think, do.

2. Stay stubborn.

Steven Pressfield says that ‘stubbornness’ is better than ‘discipline’ or ‘perseverance’ because it’s less lofty. You don’t have to be a hero of the day to be stubborn. You just have to be a pain in the ass. I agree. All good things — whether it’s accumulating wealth, writing a book, or building a business — come from compound effect. And not just because these things take time, but also because by doing something regularly, you’re starting to receive exponential returns. The momentum you’ve built will allow you to make the change in a day that you previously couldn’t have made in a year.

3. Do the verb to become a noun.
