Telling the truth is hard. But the feeling of it is as easy as a breeze.

Lately, wherever you go you will see all kind of of words crafted just to get your attention. So is a lie worth your attention? Well, if you check the marketing industry- it is worth millions and millions of dollars so I guess fucking yes.

What if we choose to turn our heads and ignore those lies, what will happen? A change.

There is something very specific in the marketing industry and that is data. Marketers use various kind of tools to check user behavior, their likes and dislikes, what makes their eye role and what, in the best case, makes them “fall in the trap”. All these marketing activities are based on big amount of data that we gave to them. So, the question that arises here is: If we change, will they also change their practices?

Absolutely yes for one simple reason-without users to whom will they market their products?!

In the past couple of years, there has been some brave souls that have been noticed by a certain community for telling the truth about their products and services. There is no shine and glitter, there is no fancy ads (and not because they have no money to support ads) — there is just pure honesty. This approach attracts users that like raw things not faketing and most importantly this honesty results in loyalty.

Rise of yellow stamp, fake news, ignorant content, wrong information, privacy mishandle and reality circus is the results of our own preferences. How would they survive if we don’t read them and feed them with more money to continue lying to us and killings the last bits of neurons that are trying to survive in our skull.

If we stop feeding the beast, it has to eventually die out. For all of us, the healthiest way would be to go back to the roots — to read from reliable sources, not fall for fake news, not fall for click-bait articles.

The change starts with us. I mean looking at it logically why would anyone change their practices if they pay off? Because it is human to do that?

Well we do not live in a fairy tale don’t we?! The change starts with us. If we don’t believe them the lies will not pay off anymore and slowly by slowly truth will arise that will give us all a freedom and a healthy environment in this freaking era.

Stay honest. Be the change.
