If you somehow missed it, “Bean Dad” refers to mediocre white man John Roderick and his series of now-deleted Tweets from January 2nd about a very proud Dad moment that made the whole internet cringe.

You see, his 9-year-old daughter came up to him when he was working on a puzzle, and said she was hungry. Instead of making her food or teaching her how to prepare some food for herself, he told her to go open a can of beans.

When she didn’t know how to open up the can of beans, because he’d failed to teach her in the past, this self-proclaimed Apocalypse Dad thought it was a good opportunity to tell his kid to figure it out for herself.

Six hours later, the kid finally ate some dang beans.

Curiously, the man spent more than 20 tweets telling the story of his supposed parental prowess, as illustrated below in these Twitter screenshots.
