Former Nashville Anchor Accused of Rape and Murder
New developments in Gracie Solomon's story will make your blood boil.
In July 2021, I wrote about a Tennessee high school student named Gracie who had turned to YouTube to tell her story when nobody in power would protect her from her father, Aaron Solomon. Gracie said Aaron had raped her and she believed he murdered her 18-year-old brother Grant, who had been determined to legally fight their father and protect Gracie from further abuse.
On the morning of Monday, July 20, 2020, Grant was reportedly struck by his own truck in a fatal parking lot accident just 15 minutes before baseball practice.
He had been 18 for only one month, and would have been a high school senior that fall.
According to his father Aaron Solomon—former WSMV Channel 4 News anchor, Merrill Lynch financial advisor, and the only witness to his son’s death — Grant parked his truck at the Ward Performance Institute in Gallatin, Tennessee, and went to get his baseball gear from the bed of his truck when it rolled backward, dragged him across the pavement, down a hill, and into a ditch.
Aaron says he was parked next to Grant, and that he was inside his own vehicle checking work emails when he realized what had happened.
