I Read Bella Thorne’s Book of Poetry and It Only Adds to the OnlyFans Controversy
Recently, I decided to make an account on OnlyFans. While I’m not there for sex work or pornography, I understand that the platform has wide appeal for a variety of content creators. I am just one person. I’m a single mom of a still tiny person, and (like a lot of other people with autism) I am short on energy. I have to be careful about biting off more than I can chew.
In the past, I’ve done that before with things like Patreon, Substack, writing workshops, etc. Even various publications and partnerships. But I was recently inspired when I saw that Christine McConnell, whose curious and delightful show got tragically canned by Netflix, turned to crowdfunding for her next show.
See, I don’t just admire Christine for being ridiculously talented and rocking a fabulous Morticia Addams vibe. I admire her for going after her dreams and doing what she loves.
