There’s a good chance you’ve heard of the radio talk show host Dave Ramsey, whether you run in many evangelical circles or not. Over the years, Ramsey’s “tough talk” about money has made its way into mainstream news and advice about how to manage money and tackle your debt.

Unfortunately, Ramsey has also made the news for some pretty controversial opinions, like his criticism of stimulus checks during the pandemic and premarital sex. So, what’s going on over at Dave’s Tennessee-based Ramsey Solutions?

It looks like a whole lot of unnecessary garbage.

After one woman claimed she got fired from his company when she announced her pregnancy (because she and her partner were not married), Inc.com dropped Ramsey Solutions from their “2020 Best Workplaces” list. That woman is now suing Dave’s company and their defense has been that they’ve similarly fired at least a dozen employees over such an offense, and that’s their right as a Christian business in Tennessee.

Dave also posted this remark on his website:
