Firstly, Hong Kong is being regarded as a safe city and it is one of the most visitor friendly cities in the world.
Most of the online publications also support the view that Hong Kong is a safe city to live and visit, relative to peer cities around the world.

Here are four main categories that i would recommend to take a look before traveling to Hong Kong:
1. Hong Kong’s Map and Corresponding Districts

Hong Kong is mainly divided into Hong Kong Island, Kowloon Peninsula and New Territories.
On Hong Kong Island, there are many historical and political buildings.
This island is an economic centre of Hong Kong.
The Kowloon Peninsula is the most populous region in Hong Kong, while the New Territories is a mix of cultural and natural sceneries.

Hong Kong is located in a subtropical area, so, its climate is generally mild.
The spring season is usually from March to May.
In this season, the climate is often warm and humid.
Summer season is from May to September.

Best time of the year is between October to February when it is generally dry and cool.

Hong Kong is a fairly easy city to get around as it has a wonderful public transport system.
There are many different kinds of public transports in Hong Kong, including Public Bus, Mass Transit Railway, Tram, Public Light Bus, Taxi, Ferry, Kaito and etc.
The route of these public transports cover almost all of parts of Hong Kong, including Hong Kong Island, Kowloon Peninsula, New Territories and some parts of Lantau Island.

The legal tender in Hong Kong is Hong Kong dollar (HKD).
For exchanging money, you can exchange your currency for Hong Kong dollars at any authorized money exchanger.
In Hong Kong International Airport, there are some currency exchange counters that are open from early morning until late at night.
However, if exchanging money in Hong Kong, it is better to go to banks as most of them always offer the best rate.
