Pranks and mild vandalism are to be expected on the night before Halloween. No one anticipates an actual murder, especially not in the small town of Greenwich, Connecticut.

Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened on October 30, 1975.

Martha Moxley was a normal teenager who was bludgeoned to death on her way home from a night of frolicking with friends. The prime suspect in her murder has a threadbare connection to the Kennedy family, which has created more problems than solutions for his prosecution.

(For those that may not be aware: for much of the twentieth century, the Kennedys were essentially the American equivalent of the British Royal Family. They had power and prestige unlike any other in the U.S., including the First Family.)
