This story is about 2 sisters who refuse to speak to each other since “the accident”, yet when they go away together on a week long school residential, will it fix their relationship or break it for good?

The main characters in this novel are Maya and Rose, and although they are sisters, their personalities are polar opposites. While Maya is a feisty and angry person, Rose is gentle and well- mannered. Maya is forever angry at Rose because of the injury caused by her when they were younger, and has despised her ever since. This caused a giant rift in their relationship, which hasn’t been resolved, will school journey fix it?

I would recommend this book for anyone aged 9–12, and would rate it 4/5, as it was an interesting, easy read, and made me understand both sides of their story.

One of the moral lessons in this book is always treat people how you want to be treated.
