Last Thursday we hosted our first HOO KOO E KOO Tribe Gathering in NYC and boy, was it a beautiful moment in time. Although our members are scattered all over the planet, we believe that to create a prosperous community, offline interactions are a must.

The evening took place at Gospël, a venue that is centered around friendship, music & art. Throughout the night we heard the performances of some truly unique musicians and after our family feast, we listened to five featured organizations that are moving mountains with their initiatives. The photos just came through, take a look and learn some more about the Tribe!

Future Ready

Working with startups, non-profits, and big businesses alike, our projects focus on how technology can power the future of humanity — the future of transportation, environment, health, governance, work, happiness,
even the future of the future (mind-blown).

Global Tribe

The future is diverse, unified, and as our civilization evolves into Type 1 (planetary), we will create one global tribe. We are making sure this future is comfortable and a home for everyone.

Our team has members from 10+ countries, 90% of the management team is female. Everyone is free to choose their location as long as we deliver.

Whether it is to contribute to the business planning to develop the idea that is destined for success or to push the design aesthetic to create a piece of art, we bring in experts to give their unbridled opinion that will widen our perspective and push our thinking as we go.

Denitia, our second performer. And WOW, what a powerful voice.

So what exactly is HOO KOO E KOO’s Tribe and how does it work?

Learn more about it and the idea behind, from a short interview with Mateusz Cyrankiewicz (Matt) — the Founding Partner and Creative Director of HOO KOO E KOO:

How would you describe Tribe in few sentences?

HOO KOO E KOO is named after a mountain trail, but it turned out the trail itself, is named after a California tribe. In their language, HOO KOO E KOO means: “This is us, people”.

We decided to form our own tribe, a group of individuals who can make amazing things happen together. People who can cross-pollinate, bounce ideas, create visions, help each other, and have a good time in the process. HOO KOO E KOO’s pledge to the tribe is to connect them, bring our projects close to you and help with yours.

“A community of world-class designers, technologists, futurists, artists, and entrepreneurs who we are lucky enough to call friends.”

This was our first official gathering.

Inverse K started us off with a poem about our future and blockchain (left) and Susanna passionately spoke about the mission of Peace Accelerators (right).
Nick let us know that Sparrow, an app that helps you automatically donate, will be launching in September!
Matt (left) opened the night with a few words about the essence of Tribe, Will & Avery (right) told us about Shuttle’s non-profit arm — The Overview Effect Foundation — with a mission to open outer space to everyone.

Why is it a community?

To increase the value for everyone involved. We have co-founded several startups with our tribe members. But we don't want it to stop with us. These individuals go on to meet and collaborate on projects with each other, completely independently.

Donna (far left) lead us in a beautiful guided meditation session before dinner & with Chris (right), from Peace Accelerators, we examined crucial changes we need to make to save our planet.
Kyle and Angeline launched their organization, Global Coralation, which is scales coral restoration projects through Art, Science, & Community.
The night ended by one of our own tribe members, Abe (right), showing us his new mixes.

Why would people decide to be a part of the HKEK Tribe? What values/benefits does it offer them?

Tribe is invite-only but you can request to join. The benefits are being connected to the rest of the community as well as involvement with our projects and Tribe discounts on services of the entire HOO KOO E KOO team. We only grow by about 10 members a year, however, we will definitely consider if someone sends us a message with a request.

How does HKEK benefit from the environment of this kind of community?

Tribe is formed of brilliant people, full of ideas and experience. This helps us seek advice, feedback, and have world-class specialists assist in our projects.

Thank you for reading! We hope to see you at our future events!
