Have you had a good week? A “wish I could pull the duvet over my head” week? Something in between?

I’m sorry to be late with this newsletterish. It should have been done this morning, but now it’s evening — and here I am. We’re having a record-breaking heatwave here in Alberta. This is the third week of it being warmer than usual, with at least another couple of weeks to go.

So I’m a wilting, sticky, puddle and I feel completely wrung out, made worse by the fact that with this heat I’m not sleeping well. I just could NOT get to the newsletterish today after about 4 minutes of sleep (okay, a little more than that but it’s too many 3 to 4-hour nights in a row).

Anyhoo…better now than not at all, right?
