Fire and Furriest: a tale of little men in power.

Better known as: How the next war started.

Hashtag this was awesome, and weirdly relevant.

I have been trying so hard to avoid politics, but the tension in the air is just impossible to ignore.

Kim Jong-un and Donald Trump are the heads of two nations in eternal conflict.

I don’t pretend to understand the the whole situation, but North Korea and The United States have never gotten along. Kim Jong-il, the country’s first leader, (after the split following WW2) said: “The American imperialists and militarism are the sworn enemies of the North Korean people.” This is the standard view and propaganda distributed in the country. The literature literally says “US soldiers tore off the limbs of innocent Koreans and cut off eyes, noses and lips and hung them on the trees”

Being that North Korea is closed to open journalism and any reporting that isn’t censored by the state, it’s impossible to get a clear picture of what is really going on here.

I can only speculate that Kim Jong-un holds the same hatred for the US that his father and grandfather did. I also think that he feels that he needs to make a name for himself and cement a legacy. What better way to do this than attack the mighty titan.

Here in the US, sigh, we have a celebrity as a President. We have a man who’s main objective since taking office has to belittle a news network. This man openly mocks those he feels are lesser than him, threatens those who disagree with him, and really has no idea how to govern. He would rather watch TV than govern. This man has control of our nuclear weapons and military forces.

Think about this, we have two overgrown children in charge of nations literally on the brink of war. You may love Trump, but can you honestly say that he is the best man to be in charge in war time?

We JUST got ‘done’ with a massive war in the middle east, ‘done’ with the major offensive, but being fully done is another matter. Do we really want to get into a full scale war with a nation that hates us?

We have been to Korea once, my grandfather was there, It was ugly .

I get that it may come down to, we have to go in, but I just don’t think that provoking them with “ fire and fury” ( while sitting at your golf course, AGAIN)is the best option. I’m not a fan of a president who tries to push off our problems to other countries either, he has on several times said the “problem of North Korea” is Japan and China’s issue, not ours.

I suppose that is what we get when we have a hot head with an orange face in the oval office.

That was mean, but I am just so exhausted from Trump.

Trump vs Kim Jong-un will not end well.

All the news networks are promoting World War Three, but let’s just think about that one for a moment.

How many nations has Trump alienated? How many would actually come to our aid if we called? Trump has even pissed off Canada… CANADA!!

South Korea would obviously be our base, but I can’t really think of who else would help. When it comes down to it, I know the UK would help, but after some severe reservation.

I don’t know who has Kim Jong-un’s back, I tried researching it, but turned into a giant spiderweb of links with no results.

This, of course, is all speculation.

Kim Jong-un has been testing missiles for a while, and has been spouting anti-US rhetoric for a long time. I think that this is the first time Kim Jong-un has threatened a specific target, Guam.

Maybe we will, maybe we won't.

I just don’t think that we have the wisest leadership to deal with this right now. Don’t get me wrong, i'm not saying Hilary could be giving us world peace, I just think someone else should be handling this.

I suppose it could all be worse…

Ps. I see Clapping is a thing now? That’s totally not weird at all..
