Late Night with Ada

Most people who know me away from the keyboard aren’t aware that I write on Medium.

Forget about the couple enjoying fireworks by the lake.

I am spending the night at school finishing up a project I have to present tomorrow around noon with a group of friends.

What kind of project you ask ?

It’s a piece of software.

Like any other field , software development has its own set of challenges. Earlier , the app crashed . I pulled my hair out trying to fix as many bugs as I could — not these bugs though —

We may look like the cool kids you wanna hangout with or the new billionaires you wanna have business with.

Don’t get me wrong, the field is promising and somehow exciting. But, that doesn’t mean we don’t have our down moments .

A couple of hours ago, I had to take a break to cool my head off. I hopped on Medium . One story led to another and here I am now telling you my story.

I am looking around…

All I can see is black terminals.

All I can hear is keyboard ticking.

It it an alternate universe here where lady Ada is watching over us as we create something out of nothing.

Ada Lovelace — first computer programmer

It’s gonna be a LONG NIGHT!
