We are excited to announce our partnership with GameStation, a decentralized multi-chain gaming launchpad, and marketplace.

Just this year, two dozen crypto/blockchain gaming companies closed investments at close to $500 million, while Axie Infinity, a leading play-to-earn game, generated $700 million between January and September. As play-to-earn gaming models continue to rise in popularity, GameStation is seeking to elevate this trend further. GameStation takes the power to create games out of the publishers’ hands and places it into the broader gaming and crypto community, creating an inclusive model for game development and gameplay in which the gamers themselves take part in the growth and financial rewards the sector has to offer.

“We’re thrilled to partner with GameStation to bring our technologies to the gaming community,” said Rob Viglione, co-founder of Horizen. “GameStation brings their exciting new platform and thriving gaming into our ecosystem to experience how zero-knowledge technology and true decentralization can improve play-to-earn games. As our sidechain technology, Zendoo, will launch on mainnet next month, GameStation is joining us at the perfect time to be at the forefront of this new wave of decentralized, zero-knowledge-based gaming.” — Rob Viglione, Horizen Co-Founder

Through the partnership, Horizen and GameStation will explore ways for communities to leverage each other’s technologies. Horizen is positioning itself to become a prominent contributor in the gaming space through the application of , its zero-knowledge-enabled and highly customizable blockchain deployment solution. Through Zendoo, game developers can scale their products from simple gaming platforms to expansive metaverse gaming economies like Axie infinity and The Sandbox with selective privacy capability.

Likewise, GameStation has ambitions to push gaming to the next phase of its evolution through blockchain technology. To do so, GameStation has partnered with Horizen to gain access to best-in-class tools for achieving scalability without compromising security or decentralization with the added benefit of privacy through cutting-edge zero-knowledge proof technologies.

“We’re excited to be partnering with Horizen as they offer the best-in-class tools for developers in addition to harboring the largest and most expansive node network,” said Jason Kovar, CEO of GameStation. “Together, our teams will work towards the common goal of elevating the play-to-earn gaming ecosystem by exploring the possibilities Horizen’s sidechain technology has to offer.”
