Got Change?

Making a change is rarely easy. Intentional change involves disrupting our current routines and ways of knowing or doing.

For example, if you want to eat healthier, that means dining out less. Which means more grocery shopping. Which means more cooking. Which means more dishes. Which ultimately results in more time spent doing things you wouldn’t normally do.

The worst mistake you can make when trying to change is to never start. Don’t allow yourself to be defeated before you even begin. Start taking the necessary steps slowly. Much like drinking a piping hot cup of coffee, start with small sips and work your way up. Figure out what works for you and what doesn’t (because not every step will!). Allow yourself to fail, but don’t allow yourself to give up.

Change will always come at a cost. It could be time. It could be money. It could be neither. It could be booth.

What it will always be, though is, effort.
