Horizon State co-founder, Jamie Skella, presented to an international audience of Mayors at the 2017 Asia Pacific Cities Summit in South Korea on Tuesday.

Jamie presented on brand new opportunities for smart cities to adopt blockchain-based technologies, and what it means for the future of constituent engagement.

An initiative of Brisbane City Council, the Asia Pacific Cities Summit (APCS) and Mayors’ Forum drives economic growth Australia and the wider Asia Pacific region. The APCS has become one of the region’s premier business and civic forums, providing a platform for governments and businesses to identify a common agenda, improve city governance and promote trade and investments opportunities in the Asia Pacific region.

The Asia Pacific Cities Summit (APCS) and Mayors’ Forum saw more than 1500 global leaders and key decision makers descend on the city of Daejeon, to transform the city into a global meeting place for the Asia Pacific region.
