I showed him what pain really was
“Okay, Dee, this should help freeze your gums. Tastes yucky, so don’t swallow it!” Dr. Payne rubbed some freezing gel on my gum and pushed his chair back. I grimaced at the horrid taste, he was right, and waited for it to kick in.
It didn’t. At all.
