The black-eyed children is an urban legend of haunting paranormal creatures that resemble children. These children range in age from six to sixteen and have pale skin and disturbing black eyes. They often appear hitchhiking along roads, at the doorsteps of residential homes, or “lost” in forests.

Black Eyed Children Characteristics

The most notable feature of black-eyed children is, of course, their eyes. The sclera is the white part of the eye, in stories of black-eyed children this is instead black, as if the pupil has bled into the rest of the child’s eye.

These children wear dark clothes, sometimes with a hooded sweatshirt. Their skin looks pale, and they look like they are in desperate need of help and somehow make you feel guilty if you don’t help. Their voices also sound desperate, making people want to help them.

In most reported sightings, a single or pair of children with all-black eyes approaches an adult whom is alone in a car or a house. The child or children will ask for a ride…
