【Urban Legend】Odd-Eyed Black Cat
A rumor is circulating about a stray cat in Tokyo
I heard this rumor from a friend who comes from Setagaya, Tokyo.
In his neighborhood, there were many stray cats. Cat-loving housewives cared for them the most. So did older adults.
Unfortunately, some pet owners were also irresponsible. They would abandon their pets there, causing a lot of trouble.
When my friend started elementary school, people often saw a black cat. It had odd eyes.
People said the cat was beautiful. It had a gold eye on the right and a black eye on the left.
This odd-eyed black cat would appear before people. They were about to abandon their cats. It would predict their bad futures, and then it would run away.
Even children tried to catch it. But they ended up being outrun. And its location remained unknown.
This black cat would attack people who were cruel to animals. It would threaten them with human words.
