Our participation to Deloitte conferences to talk about ‘uberisation’ in Hospitality

Beginning of 2016, In Extenso Deloitte (French audit and consultancy firm) launched its 18th edition of annual Hospitality and Tourism trends, and organized in this context several roundtable meetings in France.
These events aimed at discussing about the main evolutions that have been impacting the Hospitality and Tourism industries.

Sharon Brakha, COO at Blackbell, was invited to speak at 3 of these events, to share her vision about the following topics:

  • Hospitality services: how to adapt to new behaviors and to the “uberisation” of the industry?
  • Take control of your digital strategy

The 3 roundtables took place in Nice (March 22nd), Marseille (March 24th) and Nantes (March 31th) and participants included besides our COO — Sharon Brakha, mainly directors of French Hotels Group.

What did we learn at these events?
These events were the opportunity for Blackbell’s COO to present key facts about the digital revolution taking place right now, and how to address it in a smart and strategic way.
Sharon’s vision and advice to all hotel directors attending these events, was focused on challenging them to go back and focus on the core of their business : Their guest.
Only by looking, listening and understanding the way guests, live interact and consume can we come with concrete answers to adapt to this ongoing revolution.
With strong statements examples and live case studies on how Hotelcloud is helping hotels face these challenges, Sharon’s intervention was widely appreciated.
