I have been enjoying the end of summer/beginning of fall by taking some time away from writing, enjoying a vacation with my wife, and focusing on my book launch. I’m pleased to note that the cooler weather is decreasing the instances of my hot flashes. I hope it’s doing the same for you!
For those of you who don’t already know, I am a children’s book author and just last week launched a new children’s chapter book series — The Liz & Toby Adventures. These are slightly spooky stories primarily for the 7–11 age group. The first book is My Dog Sees Ghosts and is available now for just $0.99 on Amazon.
While it may seem like my personal career doesn’t really belong in this publication about the challenges of midlife, it definitely does. This is a new career for me, something I am pursuing post-50, and I hope to inspire you to pursue your long-held dreams, whatever they may be!
