A Rose
“For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.” Romans 14:8
Beloved,
Where is the beauty in death? The body decomposes, dust and ash are left — not even the garment wrapped around you can survive Adam’s sin.
“Like a rose trampled on the ground . . . “
“Crucified, laid behind a stone . . . “ IHOP KC 8:10 am
At mortal life’s last breath, there is an exit strategy — there is a promise that goes deeper than any mental thought, and hangs on the faith of a heart — raptured by a King
A sound is made — that only God hears, that saying, “It is finished. . . “, the same words that His Son uttered from the Cross.
A Transformation takes place — unknown to man, a mystery of the ages. Where even a mortal life or a mortal death — belong to God. And we live and we die, but either way — all is to His Glory. All is to His Praise.
To know that without a doubt, that is the greatest need within an obedient mind — for it will struggle unless the heart has subdued it, bringing it under submission. The mind will go in a hundred different directions at every dilemma, every difficulty — that battle is there.
But the heart holds the key — the Throne Room of God — the Kingdom of Heaven. That does not seem possible, for we think three-dimensional — but God walks in a Kingdom that is not spacial, but is breath — has weight, and exist wherever God’s children step.
Truly, we carry Heaven within us.
All is His. Even darkness has a reservation, unless changed — unless transformed.
But it is Joy to carry this key with our heart — to know that the Gospel we share is fact, and those that take the step of Faith, on the Word of your Testimony — will live again, will be resurrected — will not remain behind the “stone.”
And the Righteousness — the Cup we must drink to be filled and changed into a New Wine Skin, it sits on the Table -waiting to be drank.
His Promises are Yes and Amen.
