Crossing Over

Crossing Over

“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” Matthew 24:35

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12

Beloved,

There is a road that you are on, and there is no one but you walking its length. Apprehension and hesitation causes you to stop for a moment, but soon — you are on your way again. This path is called, the “run-away” road.

It is a road that comes out of the desperation in us of “needing God” every step of the way. And your heart wants to run-away with the Lord. And, it is in those moments — He simply says, “Come.”

Every step of the way is guarded by Him.

He has a plan for your success, for a life that is filled with His Presence — it is the taste of the Bread and the Wine, a willingness to lay down your life for Him, and to never pick it back up.

Like the strings of a guitar, being played in worship — that each note breathes Christ and reverberates with the heartbeat of God. It is difficult to explain the hunger that you are experiencing — for it is a deep, deep pang and groan, for Holiness in your life and heart.

The sounds carry you further down this road — and the cry to “Run-Away” grows stronger within you — touching those parts of your life, that have been redeemed, and causing the other areas to be jealous of your time and breath. Soon, the things behind you are more distant than they have ever been before, and moving forward is easier.

The Realm of His Glory stands before you — like a wall of light that seems to be ebbing like an ocean tide beneath a full moon. The closer you get, the sense of Holiness increases — and the sounds of Worship are heard. There are sounds of instruments that you cannot identify, but yet are familiar to you. You have heard them before, in the depths of your worship, intercession and prayers — that have moved your heart.

This Realm of His Glory — is close now, and seems to be wrapping itself around you like a garment — and you are caught up in Praise, releasing sounds from your heart and tongue — bringing honor to the King.

For it cannot be helped.

All around you, there is nothing else for it has all fallen away — and you hear, “ but my words shall not pass away.”

And you realize, you are crossing over the Threshold of His Throne Room . .
