Just 10 Days

“Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king’s meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants. So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days. And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king’s meat. Thus Melzar took away the portion of their meat, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse.” Daniel 1:13–16

“Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.” Psalm 19:14

Ask, “Give me 10 days . . . “

What can God do in 10 days, when favor rests on your head? Surely, what did God do in just seven days — at the beginning.

We kneel at HIs Altar and draw near in prayer and supplication — wanting more of Him, more of His Holy Spirit. Like to Moses, God says, “Take off your sandals. You are standing on Holy Ground.”

It is clear, that when we lay down our lives — He then picks it up, and uses it for the Kingdom. For every worldly need is no longer a desire and the flesh has been consumed. Then, God puts you in the place, where the Kingdom of God can be stretched out — can be expanded, where the canopy be moved further out.

“Bind us together, in Love Lord.” (IHOP KC 5:15 a.m.)

We are the Holy Ground — when we give ourselves over to His Will. We are a Burning Bush, that others will see — and will want to inquire of — to see this marvelous thing. We have been positioned — that all can see us burn.

The fuel within us that is ignited — is the Love of Christ. It causes a burning to take place — that is incredibly Radiant — that transforms lives, and hearts.

In your position today — the secular world cries out for you to eat of its table — and although the table is set with food and wares that are visually appealing, they are filled with worms and will rot you from the inside out. The world is corrupt and darkness presses in like an intruder — wishing to wrap its tentacles around you, to choke the life out of you.

For a world that has fallen into despair — where death is an ideal and sin is promoted from almost every billboard along the highway. Take just one walk in a mall — and your eyes are assaulted.

But ask for just 10 days . . . to show the difference of eating at the Lord’s Table — knowing that He set it with the finest of Heaven’s Fare. The Bread and the Wine are for you and the chair next to the Master has been reserved for you. Come and eat with Him — that the Body and the Blood will be your portion. And you will be transformed and others will see your countenance.

Surely, you will glow with Radiance, because of the Fire inside.
