On the road to Pentecost — Day 22
On the road to Pentecost — Day 22
“Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies. She watches over the ways of her household, And does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; Her husband also, and he praises her:” Proverbs 31:10
“And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, “By what power or by what name have you done this?”” Acts 4:7
Beloved,
Starting every day with, “You are Worthy!”
In the life of a wife — given to her husband — we find the mystery of that which is the Bride of Christ. God makes virtuous the Bride, dressing her in white and covering her with a Strong Tower — for she has been made Righteous. Her value is without measure, for she is God’s Creation — the Work of His Hand.
Those that are birthed out of her womb and even those that are not — rise and call her blessed. The Bridegroom, Christ praises her in His Court. She is welcome there, and goes beyond this place across the Threshold into the Holy of Holies. She has been made sacred in His Sight — for she has given herself to Him.
The Lord is a Fire that consumes all the flesh — the thoughts too, that have been laid down, will be burned up — and the Lord’s Thoughts will be given, filling her up — as He calls Her into His Garden, into His Throne Room.
There is none like Him.
Shortly after being arrested, Peter was confronted with the question — “By what power or by what name have you done this?” in reference to healing a man on the Sabbath.
There will be many times, that we too will be confronted with this question — for our heart is to Heal the Sick, Cast out demons, and Raise the Dead to Life. We are a beautiful Bride, made ready by the Lord. We are soaked in His Oils — Fragrant like His Son, and dressed for Kingdom Business.
The Bride sustains herself in the midst of controversy and challenges — on the Word of God, sown deep within her.
We the Bride, keep honor and glory for our Lord — and we are always ready for His arrival.
In the midst of these times — when the world seems to be turned upside down — and fear is being promoted by so many is when our Courage is raised to new levels, and our Heart guarded by the Lord. We are strengthened on this Bread and this Wine, His Body and Blood.
Let Love overflow in Hearts today.
Life, released in our Breath and our Words.
That the Church, would see their Identity in Christ as the Bride — who has been made ready. We who once were dead, are now alive in Him — and the Life that we lead is not our own, for we have given ourselves over to Him, our King.
“By what power or by what name, have you done this?”
