Vivo launches its flagship X50 series in China with its unique Gimbal Camera system!

After months of leaks, teasers and rumours, the smartphone maker Vivo has finally launched its flagship X50 series. The X50 series comprises of the Vivo X50, the X50 Pro and the X50 Pro+. All the 3 phones are almost similar in design with the difference being in terms of its camera setup.

Will not go through its specs as its already mentioned in the above pic. The key feature is the primary camera’s heavy-duty stabilization system, which Vivo variously compares to professional gimbals and chameleons’ eyes. It is the world’s first phone to feature a gimbal technology.

The Vivo X50 Pro and the X50 Pro+ comes equipped with exceptional photography capabilities whereas the X50 misses out on the gimbal stabilisation feature but it is the slimmest 5G phone ever made at just 7.49mm thickness and the design is very good.

The Vivo X50 Pro+ features Samsung’s latest 50 megapixel ISOCELL GN1 1/1.3" sensor for the primary cam and it is also the first-ever to combine the ISOCELL and Tetracell to do 12.5MP stills in binned mode with large 2.4µm pixels. Both Vivo X50 Pro+ and X50 Pro also come with periscope telephoto cameras, but, the X50 misses out on that.

The Vivo X50 Pro and the X50 Pro+ are for camera lovers whereas the X50 is for those who love a sleek designed phone with nice performance but i would personally recommend to go for the X50 Pro or the Pro+ rather than the X50 base model. Rite now the phone is only available in China with the global launch dates to be announced soon.
