PCI-E cables turned out beautifully

This week has been a mixed bag. Have finished almost all the cabling, just the more-complicated 24-pin to do now. With how much work they took, and how the process is; my fingers have been very sore, almost to the point of being unable to type.

So the back part of this week got used for recovery, and to take stock of where I was and if I needed any parts ordering. Decided I wanted to take the paint off of the GPU waterblock to match the rest of the aluminum in the build, so some super-strong paint stripper was ordered. Also decided that I did need a coping saw for some things, and a workbench so I don’t damage the Kitchen Table, so these are also on the way.

Currently progressing with 4 things added to the to-do list for every one I cross off, but that’s okay. A lot of this is fairly new to me, I’ve done PC builds and mods before but this project is a much more ambitious scope. I keep learning of new things that I could do on the build, and it’s very true that the more you look, the more you find.

This project has been great so far personally, really helping me focus on myself, my skills, and the improvement of these. While it’s true that you need to look at what’s going on with your contemporaries, the only person you’re really competing with is yourself.

Thanks for reading, and Mod On!
