Elevating Black and POC during Pride Month

I believe that leadership is an expression of our values. And if your values include valuing diversity and inclusion, then it’s great to start with how you can create that community through action.

Our modern Pride Month has its history in the riots that occurred in New York City at the Stonewall Inn in 1969. The bar’s patrons were largely Black and people of color, many of whom would now call themselves transgender rather than the dated term transvestite.
