Step 3: Calculate Total Grade Points:

Sum up the grade points earned in all subjects or courses you’ve completed.

Step 4: Calculate Total Credit Hours:

Sum up the total credit hours or units for all the courses.

Step 5: Calculate CGPA:

Divide the Total Grade Points (Step 3) by the Total Credit Hours (Step 4).

Example:

Let’s say a student completed three courses with the following grades and credit hours:

  • Course 1: A+ (9.0 grade points) with 3 credit hours
  • Course 2: B (6.0 grade points) with 4 credit hours
  • Course 3: A (8.0 grade points) with 2 credit hours

Step 2: Calculate Grade Points for Each Subject:

  • Course 1: 9.0 * 3 = 27.0
  • Course 2: 6.0 * 4 = 24.0
  • Course 3: 8.0 * 2 = 16.0

Step 3: Calculate Total Grade Points: 27.0 + 24.0 + 16.0 = 67.0
