Saying “No” makes many people feel uncomfortable. But when you say “Yes” to the wrong things, everybody suffers.

Yet it’s still so easy to end up saying yes — even if that means we are compromising our needs by committing ourselves to something we don’t actually need or want to commit to.

So how do we get better at setting healthy boundaries, being clear about them and sticking to them?

This is the question Charles Davies and I are going to answer in “No”, our three-part online course that starts on the 17th January.

Over three evenings, we’ll cover:

  • The cost of not saying no
  • Why it’s hard (but essential) to say no
  • How to set healthy boundaries and stand by them
  • What to do when conflict and tension shows up
  • How to listen to your body and understand your needs

I’ll lead the first session, exploring the nature of boundaries and how to listen to your needs.

Charles will take the second session and take us through the necessity and benefits of learning how to say ‘No’.
