What if you forgot to receive your Emirates ID. Or lost it?! You need to issue a replacement ID. In those three easy steps, you will request your Emirates ID in one day and receive it 8 days after.
First, you have to visit a type center (In Dubai a type center is a shop that will help you file your governmental online applications and process your payments)
Make sure that you have your original passport with the residence permit printed on it.
The cost of issuing a replacement Emirates ID is AED 340 + the fees of the type center Wich is AED 30
After filling your Emirates ID application in the type center and paying your fees you have to visit a biometric office. There you will do the fingerprints again.
This can all be done in one day.
Then you wait for 8 days when you receive an SMS of confirmation that your Emirates ID is issued you will then go collect it.
