Another look at the Border Wall

Democrats have taken a stand as far as the wall goes, but they are failing on justifying why.

In essence, a wall is not bad. Maybe it is meant to keep bad things in or out. Maybe it is to also keep good things in or out. Maybe it’s use just to define an area or a property. In essence then, the wall is not a bad thing. Democrats have founded walls in the past. So why are they opposing it? They say because it is unethical. And that is a huge problem.

The problem is not that a wall is unethical when used to define and or protect a border.

The problem is that “the wall” has been used as a symbol of hatred, a symbol of discrimination, a symbol of the pure racism. Building the wall, or agreeing to build a wall under this presidency, would be like agreeing that immigrants are bad people, rapists and criminals. It would be like accepting that it is ok to harass women as long as you have enough power or money. It would be like agreeing with the person that mocks a disabled person in public, like accepting it is ok to call on people to beat someone up since he will pay the legal fees. If the wall gets build, it obviously won’t be as effective as he wants you to believe it is in terms of border security.

But the intention of the wall right now, is not to protect you from made up menaces. The intention of building a wall, is to have the ultimate ratification that everything this president has said and done is right.
