HTM September 2020 Wrap-Up

Dear How To Money Reader,

I’ve spent the month trying to build a solid morning and evening routine, and have spent far more time than one should reading about other people’s routines, building good habits (James Clear anyone?) and finding the perfect tool to help me do this.

I must’ve downloaded and tested at least 10 apps, but I finally settled on Routinery, which is mostly free (advanced analytics and offline backups cost extra). You’ll need to play around with timings and the order of tasks a little, but once you find a routine that works, it’s a simple way to keep you consistent.

Honestly, with the prospect of still being in the “Melbourne lockdown” until at least the end of October, having a daily routine has been instrumental in getting me out of bed and staying “relatively” productive each day. I’d encourage you to give it ago, if it doesn’t help, you haven’t lost anything.

Anyway, let's get into all the awesome content and resources I’ve found for you this month.

New From HTM

Aussie FIRE, an eBook collaboration between 20 of Australia’s top FIRE experts and Pearler, has now officially been released in its full glory (all 288 pages). Get your copy for free over here at Pearler!

I was also interviewed by a great FIRE blogger I follow, called The Frugal Samurai. If that’s something you’re interested in, I’d highly recommend checking out his other articles and videos.
