How can an artist define his target audience

💥 Hey artist, do you know your followers?! 👪

💡 In the last post, we figured out the purpose of maintaining an account and developed an action plan. Now I want to help you determine who you specifically need to work with; find out who your followers and customers are (who is your “target audience”).

🎨 The audience of the artist consists of three groups:
1. Other artists looking for inspiration, ideas and friends;
2. Potential clients who are looking for suitable performers for their tasks; or wanting to get a beautiful picture;
3. People who just like beautiful pictures

🎯 Depending on the goals, you need to work with one of these groups IN PRIORITY!

👤First of all, you need to create “typical portraits” of your audience. For example, if your goal is to make money selling courses, then you need to make a portrait of exactly those people who may be interested in buying your courses (they will not be girls of 12 years old).

📝 The description should include: gender, age, occupation and income, interests, needs, fears, etc.
Example: a girl, 22 years old, a student, moonlighting as a sales assistant, salary of 200$ / month; learn to draw, wants to become an illustrator; she’s afraid she won’t be able to earn enough money on this.

⚠️ Make as many and detailed portraits as possible for EACH your goal, and choose a priority for each goal.

📌Now your task is to determine what you can “give”, and how you can help each specific “typical character”.
For example, you can give this girl tips on how to learn how to draw and how to make money. You can tell your story and dispel all its fears.

💫 When for each type you write down what you can help them with, you will have an idea of which of them will help you achieve your goals, and which of them you need to work with first.

✨You will understand how to create an account, what posts to do, what to write about, what services to provide, how and where to attract people, and how to increase the number of orders.
