Surah 111, Al-Lahab

This is a difficult Surah, just as there are difficult texts in the Bible. It has a message of woe for an enemy of faith. The issue for the Qur’an is ignorance and wilful enmity. God stands against enmity (not acknowledgement of religious difference), perhaps offering figurative reassurance to the believers that all will be resolved.
