This is an interesting verse and I have always found it very striking — ‘In fact, We hurl the truth against falsehood, and it crushes it, so it vanishes.’ (v. 18) It can only be spoken from a very strong position, as for what any of us believe to be true or false, we may need to reach inside ourselves for it, as some aspects of the Qur’an and other scriptures suggest.
