Surah 6, Al-Anam
This chapter has a strong theme of choice, the Qur’an does not force. It offers the two possibilities of turning to God or following a path which is human or directed towards idolatry. Idolatry does not feature in today’s society so there is work to do in order to bridge the gap between the Qur’an and our current situation. This may require some imagination and creativity on the part of the preacher, teacher or reader.
