Wherever there is connectivity, have your friends join in on the adventure.

Houseparty usage means opportunities to stay connected on social media with study groups and hang outs.

Who creates an application in secrecy with usability at stake? Apparently, Creator Ben Rubin of Meerkat saw a social future for his application Houseparty and took the gamble. With live-streaming being a key factor for productivity, the application has reigned king for video chatting. How should live-streaming be set apart from others like Facebook and Instagram? Make it a Houseparty.

What’s a party without a house full of guests? With the Houseparty application, users can invite up to eight guests for a live chat. The advantage with Houseparty, “broadcasting live” means more creative ways to stay connected while away from home. Wherever there is connectivity, have your friends join in on the adventure. But be forewarned, friends of friends get the stranger danger notifications.

There’s no doubt, social media is a big deal with Generation Z. What does that mean, usage wise, for the Houseparty application? Houseparty usage means opportunities to stay connected on social media with study groups and hang outs. And The House Party has won popular interaction on a daily basis. Almost to the point of having to deal with Houseparty “crashers”, causing frequent phone call drops .

Nevertheless, the idea for Houseparty is giving user’s friends an option to join or the party as they please. Whether you stay or leave, the party continues on. Another great feature is the continuous ability to invite users. How ever long the party lasts, friends can make an appearance at any time.

The only downside with Houseparty is that it’s more geared toward the younger crowd, meaning it’s audience is limited but this doesn’t seem to be a loss for its function.

With an application like Houseparty, should it’s social platform be considered by marketing strategist? Generation Z is our top priority in the digital age, marketers will gain huge opportunity to grow with their future clients at the next level.

Houseparty could be a doorway for marketers. It’s a new form of connecting with an audience and offers a lot of attention and access.

After all, being actively social online, means living in the social world. Making it a window to reality and authenticity. Using it as a tool for building meaningful relationships rather than being a victim of hard sale.
