How To Catch A Glimpse — A Guide To Be A Sunset Lover
We all know that sunsets are all the rage. Some take pictures to post on their social media, likely a Snapchat or Instagram story and some either send them to friends or take it in for what it is. What will you do?
Choose Your Location
There are plenty of great places to see a sunset’s full potential. Recommendations can consist of beaches, parks, hills, mountains, or even just a parking in a lot. No matter the place, watch the skyline. Without any obstructions like buildings, thick clouds and large landscapes, your view is much more clear.
Get There Early
The weather app on your phone or a simple Google search can tell you when the sun is determined to set that night. To catch the entire experience, plan to arrive at your perfect spot about half an hour early. That way, you have plenty of time to set up, get comfy, and wait for the sky to paint its colors.
Unplug From Socials
It is easy to check your phone, watch videos and scroll on multiple social media platforms. We are all guilty of doing it at least once throughout our day. During the watching of a sunset, let that be a time to truly engage with nature instead of a screen.
Stay A While
Just when you think it couldn’t get any better, sometimes it does. As the sunsets, the sky transforms. In some instances, the sky will continues to change into different shades of blue, orange, pink, and purple. Stay until the end to see what kind of a glimpse you can catch.
Relax and Reflect
Take this time to be with yourself. Your mind may become clear, or simply full of gratitude. Either way, let yourself feel all of the many feels. The peace and quiet you may experience in this moment may be only a few minutes of bliss. But, it is yours.
