As someone who loves to read, but gets distracted and bored very easily, here are some tips on how to make reading more fun, interesting, and experiential.

Listen to Music

Depending on the book and how popular it is among readers, there may be a playlist that contains music that matches each chapter throughout the book. This will create a movie feel inside your head, as well as give the scene more emotional impact.

Find Your Spot

Find yourself as spot where you are comfortable and least distracted as possible. Reading in a place that does not make you happy will distract you from the book and make you focus more on your surroundings. This then stops you from containing all the amazing details in the novel that make it magical.

Lighting

Lighting has a bigger effect on how you read more than people think. Certain lightings make a certain ambiance. Having a warm-hued light will allow you to read for longer periods of time as it will not tire your eyes as fast as cool light. Warm lights also make a room look softer and make distractions not stand out as much.

Snacks

While you are cozying up to a good book, grab your favorite snack to munch on while you read the adventures of your novel. Having a snack will give the same comforting feeling as seeing your favorite movie in theaters or at home.
